" Here’s a rug of Luna with her real name – Kaibab’s Blue Moon.
I got Luna from Kaibab Bernese Mountain Dogs in Salt Lake City run by Mary-Ann and Kim Bowman. The husband and wife team have been raising Bernese since 1994.
The name Kaibab comes from the Kaibab National Forest in northern Arizona and translates from the original Native America word to “mountain lying down”, which reminds me of Luna when she’s plopped down in the front hallway. Although Kim and Mary-Ann live in Salt Lake, they have special ties to the Kaibab and enjoy spending time there with their dogs.
Remember, you can put two lines of text onto a photo rug for free. I like to think of the Kaibab Blue Moon rug as an official birth certificate for my dog."
